Employees vs Users

Administrators can create employee records. Users who are not administrators can view employee information, contact employees, and export employee information to their local machine. However, they cannot create or manage employee information. While all users are employees, not all employees are users. To be a user, an employee needs a username and password to log into Sugar. All employees are listed in the Employees page which is accessed by clicking the Employees link at the top of the page. A user takes up a Sugar License for Professional, Corporate, Enterprise, and Ultimate editions. Employees who are not users do not take up a license seat.
