Health Check Error: Incompatible Integration Data Reset

    Overview

    The Health Check wizard must be run when upgrading in order to evaluate your instance’s ability to move to the target version. During the health check, various types of issues may be detected which can affect your ability to upgrade. This article will cover how to resolve an “Incompatible Integration Data Reset” error reported by the health check.

    Symptoms

    This error generates an output similar to the following in health check:

    Resolution

    To address this issue, the integration must be uninstalled and deleted from the Module Loader interface before proceeding with the upgrade. Please refer to the appropriate section below depending on whether you have the package installed or just uploaded in Module Loader.

    Uninstalling and Deleting the Package

    If the package is installed, you must uninstall and delete the package from your Sugar instance.

    1. Navigate to Admin > Module Loader.
    2. Locate the package (e.g. Process Author) you would like to uninstall.
    3. Click the Uninstall button to the right of the package name.
    4. Click the Commit button to begin the uninstall process.
      Note: Uninstalling the package will remove the tables and existing data generated by the package.
    5. Click “Back to Module Loader” once the uninstall is complete.
      Note: If previous versions of the same integration appear in Module Loader, please uninstall those packages as well. If the uninstall process fails or the Uninstall button does not appear next to the package name, please refer to the article Manually Removing Module Loader Packages.  
    6. Once the package is uninstalled successfully, please navigate back to Admin > Module Loader.
    7. Locate the appropriate package in the Uploaded Packages panel and click “Delete Package”.
       
    8. A pop-up message will display asking for confirmation. Click “OK” to proceed.

    Deleting the Package

    If the package is not installed but exists in the Uploaded Packages panel in Module Loader, you must delete the package from your Sugar instance. 

    1. Navigate to Admin > Module Loader.
    2. Locate the appropriate package in the Uploaded Packages panel and click “Delete Package”.
    3. A pop-up message will display asking for confirmation. Click “OK” to proceed.

    Once the package has been deleted successfully, please navigate to Admin > Repair and perform a “Quick Repair and Rebuild” to ensure that the changes are synced between the application and database. Then, perform the health check again to confirm that the error is no longer reported.
