Lead Routing from Landing Pages

    Routing New Leads

Sugar Market, formerly known as Salesfusion, Landing Pages provide you with an added layer of lead management capability within the forms designer that allows you to route and send alerts based on a variety of commonly used routing rules. These rules only apply to new leads coming into the system and include:

    • Primary Contact: A primary contact is defined by the administrator. There can be only one Primary Contact, which will be used as the owner for any new lead record.
    • Use Country Geos: You can route leads based on the country selected by the recipient. The Administrator will need to define the Country Geos. If more than one person is assigned in the Geo, then the assignments will be done via Round Robin. You must have one field mapped to a column that contains the word ‘country’ in the CRM. (This could be a custom field such as custom_country__c)
    • Use State Geos: You can route leads based on the state selected by the recipient. The Administrator will need to define the State Geos. If more than one person is assigned in the Geo, then the assignments will be done via Round Robin. You must have one field mapped to a column that contains the word ‘state’ in the CRM. (This could be a custom field such as custom_state__c)
    • Use Postal Codes Geos: You can route leads based on the Postal Code selected by the recipient. The Administrator will need to define the Postal Code Geos. If more than one person is assigned in the Geo, then the assignments will be done via Round Robin. You must have only one field mapped to a column that contains one of the following words in the CRM: postalcode, zip, mailingzip, billingzip, otherpostalcode, mailingpostalcode, address1_postalcode, companypostcode, primary_address_postalcode, or alt_address_postalcode (This could be a custom field such as custom_zip__c)
    • Geos Waterfall: Geos Waterfall will take into account three sets of Geos – Postal Code, State, and Country. If your form collects these three pieces of information, then it will first start with postal codes and then moves to States and then moves to Country in that order. The same requirements above apply for the Waterfall to work.
    • Round Robin: Round Robin will take a list of users and assign them in equal portions in a circular order.

    Step-By-Step Guide

By default, lead routing will only route for new leads to Sugar Market. So it is recommended to setup an alert to notify the existing owner of a lead when a lead already exists in the system (Step 3 below), then use Lead Routing for new leads.

    1. Routing Type: From the Lead Routing tab within your Landing Page, select the routing type.
    2. Users: For all except “Primary Contact”, select the users who will be included in this routing.
    3. On Submit Alerts: This step ensures that the sales rep is notified if a lead already exists in your system. Make sure you check this box.

After you define the recipient of these lead alerts you should keep in mind they will receive a duplicate alert if they are also set up in the Subscription Tab to receive on-submit alerts.
